Updated Grow Area-Under Lights

Changes to my grow area include the addition of a third 48” long x 12” wide shelf, a total of 8 fans, 5 stay on while the 3 sets of 3 - 48” T-5 lights are on and the other 3 come just as the lights shut off. The T-5 bulbs, 2 grow bulbs and 1 bloom bulb in the center per shelf. There are three vaporizers on timers to ad humidity. I did increase the size of the enclosure which is made up of two clear shower curtain liners that are keep closed with magnets down the middle (Black Dots) and duct taped to the back wall. I have a total of 5 timers in this set up. I guess if I want to increase this area again, I’ll have to look for wider shelves. In January I had zero orchids. I currently have 34 with more on the way. I better start looking for those shelves. lol Have Fun, Rich

Wow rich63, you are truly rich that you can afford to setup such growing environment for orchids.

If I had lots of money, I will try to setup and grow tulips, wisteria, and cherry blossom in the Philippines. hehehehehe
