    Smile Smitinandia species ? new species

    Found in Central Pahang at elevation 1000 to 1200 meter.In original habitat the night temperature is 15 to 19 degree C and day time 24 to 32 degree C. Very long lasting flowers with green petals and fuzzy labellum very small less than 1 cm.Most probably Smitinandia species.

    Oh wow what a pretty little soul, I love the tiny flwoers and their colours, the hairy lip is just wonderful, the flowers are slightly on the small side for me but your photos bring out their beauty wonderfully, Thanks so much for all your photos and hard work finding these, without you I would never get the chance to see such wonders of nature.

    That is cool. I saw the photo of the plant on the slide show when I logged in this morning and thought it was a phal of some kind. I like the cool little blooms on this one.

    Yes, i think Mietek got it, Ornithochilus is now Phalaenopsis according to KEW, haha.
