    Wow Diane, this is something you don't get too often in that part of Japan! Of course this year I saw on TV they had a great deal of problems with the weather, heavy snows...
    I never imagined Tokyo under snow...
    By the way, do you live there?

    Ni, I don't live there.... at least not if I can help it. I go there regularly on business trips and always take my camera with me. It was so snowy that they had to close the airport, because as you said, Tokyo does not usually get snow, and this time was over 6 inches.

    6 inches? wow! I've never heard of such snow in Japan, aside of Sapporo here they get snow all the time because it's in the mountains!
    How great you get to travel there... I am in love with that country, especially their cuisine... I wish I could get one more chance to visit Japan this life time!

    Yes, the countryside is pretty, the big cities are just big cities - with most of the signs in Japanese.... Kyoto - I really like Kyoto
