Tim and I waited forever for the other contestant to show up! No Judge, No Bouncer, No Cheerleaders!





So we just had to settle for a superb dinner in a fabulous location (Tim and Steve's Club) with a bottle of absolutely melt in your mouth, succulent shiraz....




(I'm not sure, but I think Tim is my long lost twin brother by another mother and father - who was kidnapped by gypsies just after he was born, about , ahem, 10 years after I was born.....)

Tim and Steve are both absolute sweethearts, and treated me royally. I can't wait to attend the Orchid Society meeting on Thursday, (after a quick trip to a local orchid nursery!)

So, Where were you, Julie, Gin, Hoa, et al???

Are you gloating, Diane? Since you are on another continent and we are stucked here with snow storms and etc ... Although I have to say, a lot of people would be envious of our native Southern Cal locals ...
Well, while you are away having fun in the Outback over the weekend, I was on the slopes, skiing and enjoying fresh snow on our local mountains! Not too shabby, I am afraid to say so! So sorry for missing the party but you can have a raincheck on me being the BOUNCER in Speedo at another time... Hehe!

I was actually repotting the whole weekend. It was a bit self-induced after all the trickle-down purchases. More coming Thurs! My apartment is puking orchids, but I can think of worse things!

The Fireworks was a fabulous display that was going on over Sydney, which I am sure Tim and Steve arranged for my visit. We went up to the roof of their club to watch them!!
