Phragmipedium caudatum

Another one from the show. This one has never bloomed before. I don't know if it's a plant with two fans or two different plants. It's not quite visible from this picture (wrong angle) but the fans are about two cm apart. Is this normal or are they two different plants in one pot?

I suspect that many phrags bloom only one time per growth. So new growths are always needed for future blooming.

I know it will only bloom once on a fan, so the more fans, the better. I was just wondering if the distance between the two fans is normal. On other Phrags the new growths grow attached to the old growth.

Some phrags do spread there new growths away from the old growth, have a little dig between the 2 growths there may be a a connection between them.Normally this looks like a very fibrous root.

My phrag pearceii sends some shoots under media and sprouts new growths away from the old growth as well. Other new growths are attached directly to the older growth,
