Yes, the entries received were all delightful, and the bribe offered is really terrific, I LOVE Peterson Guides..... But, I decided not to go with the bribe (maybe we could work out some other trade, Julie). So it was a tough decision...
Ptaszek; I've been a graduate student, so I know how tough it is - although I worked full time and attended grad school full time so I couldn't even think about having a lot of 'chids back then..
ATester; I love the idea of flasking seeds and donating seedlings, something I'll never be able to do, but it takes soooooo long...
Orchidilerium; Stem propagation is something I learned about a long time ago (I think they called it meristemming???? or mericlone?) but will never be able to do either...
SO
I'm taking the easy way out...
Orchidilerium, the Bellina goes to you, and if you get successful propagation, give one to ATester.![]()
ATester, if you want it, how about a Phal equestris, it needs a new home and is a species, and hopefully will bloom again under your care and you can pollinate and collect seed and flask away....![]()
Ptaszek, you have a baby bellina, so I think a nice mature plant that is going to bloom will be more of an inspiration to the bellina, and more enjoyable for you. So how about a nice non-species little phal I have...![]()
You guys PM me with your mailing addresses and I will get your prizes on their way to you!!
