I have no idea, but hey nice Cat and color!
nice catt.

Wow...the bloom is bigger than the plant...beautiful![]()
Need to see photo of the leaves. At first glance, leaves don't look like C. warneri.
Thank you everyone!
Hi Yug,here's more photos. Thanks!

Well, I like the photos, but I need to see from the leaf whether it is more roundish for the length of the leaf. C. warneri tends to be wider/rounder compared to the length than most other cattleyas. I still can't see it from those pictures. If the leaf was laying flat, and you were standing over it taking the photo, that would be the angle I need to see. The short fat p-bulbs do look like C. warneri, but the leaf is the clincher.
Hi Yug, leaves in the second photo are wider than which in the first photo. They are on the same plant.

Your second photo looks typical of C. warneri, which has leaves that are wider and more roundish when compared with most other cattleya types when you look at dimensions of width and length. Here is a photo that doesn't show it very well because I was focused on the blooms, but in the bottom of the pic you can see the small p-bulbs, and short wide leaves. Also C. warneri tends to have a ruffle around the lip. Yours looks like it falls in that category.

Looks very much like a C warneri. Thanks Yug for the info.
