    Default Another Cym

This is another plant that came from a division from one of my mom's old reliables. Name tag was lost from her plant many years ago. (although she thinks it is called Jade) She still has 3 divisions of this one growing outside in No. California - all hers have multiple spikes and all the spikes have open blooms. Cyms really like it there! Mine has 4 spikes, only one open right now. This is a mini.

That is very nice! What else can beat an old reliable? When your $100 ($500 or $1,000) orchid purchase fails you, the old reliable keeps on blooming year after year! Well, that is the value and why we like them!
    Cheers. Hoa.

that's a nice one... and a nice photo with the water... it gleams (hmm.. is that a word)..

*warning warning - crazy 'too early in the morning analogy to ensue*

i guess these "reliables" are like the potatoes in a meal... they may sometimes get forgotten or we may tire of them... and they may be accompanied by a roast lamb one day, or a bbq chook another, but they are the staples in our meal (or in this case the constant companions in our collections)... we really should advertise these everblooming wonders more!

*now, where is that cup o' tea... or maybe I need something stronger this time in the mo-nin*
