usually i find peloric flowers creepy looking... but this thing was just screaming at me when i walked in. in it's cheap but oh-so-overpriced plywood box, and a smaller phal companion plant, i wasn't even sure what it was, but i knew it was mine from 15 feet away. i'm not having any luck finding this on the web. this will be the very top of my phal tree.
the flowers seem to have triple lips, which form a cup shape, sort of like a small daffodil.

Good Grief! This is truly interesting! It is beautiful! Looks like you have many buds! Congrats
I don't normally like pelorics but I'll make an exception for this one. This is very attractive!
I combed the web for anything like it and found nothing! You have a very unusual plant here!
very unusual and pretty
I agree with you the color and pattern are very striking.
Could be a peloric of Phal Brother Lancer.
Edit I do see someone offering Phal Brother Lancer 'Lycastanopsis'. Looks like yours
Ron-NY i think you are dead-right! i googled Phal Brother Lancer "Lycastanopsis" and found almost an exact duplicate of the plant. same down to the stem color, leaf shape, leaf color, and flower shade and all! i love this guy. pelorics usually throw off the symmetry of the phal flower, but this one does not look out of shape, just oddly shaped. very 3 dimensional for a phal, which usually are very flat and rounded looking these days, at least the florist types are anyway.
