    Default Laelia dayana 'Lip Service'

    This is a mini or compact Laelia, i bought it last year bloom size. It was marked "original division" though I think it's a relatively unknown, unawarded variety. It's in a 2.5" pot, it's rupiculous so half the media is small red lava rock. I recently found out these like shade but bright indirect light yielded two buds, so I will continue to ignore the experts!!

    You'll see in the first photo, the petals open up a wonderful light yellow-green -and then turn to a beautiful light blush/purple.
