This is the second blooming of this one for me since getting it early in my orchid addiction in 12/13. This blooming is much better than the first one. And the plant is a couple times larger than that time too. I let my co-workers enjoy it blooming in the office. 40 weeks or less until I and my orchids leave the work world!

Thanks Carol! Yes!!! I am retiring in 39 weeks or less. 39 weeks would be best but I am ok as long as it is at least no sooner than March 2018.

The company I worked for 12 years was sold May 2016. The new comp-any wiped out all of our decade long established teams. Many key (in my mind at least) left and we went from a highly functional division that delivered software to the rest of the company to mush. Our efforts 2005-2016 I think saved the company $350 million in costs by doing all this in house. I'll retire with a severance package (still under the umbrella of the acquisition) of 39 weeks of salary. If I stay, our office will move to the new companies domain and building and I give up any claim to a severance package. If I find the new location and job unacceptable (what I expect to happen) and I retire 2 months later, I get nothing when I retire. So I think I have to take the severance package. I have been able to save and the old company had a traditional pension plan. So I think I am financially capable.
