Cattleya labiata (?)
One of the first batch of cattleyas I bought when I made a fresh serious attempt to grow them well, maybe 3 years ago. Now with its first ( single) flower. The label is full of words, but most of them seem to refer to different clones of labiata - so I am guessing that is what it is.
For the record, the label says :-
C.labiata v rubra ( Z41 x Z68) Roberto x [(Schuller x Morado del Sol) x (Marina x venosa)
And, btw, I would not have chose a hybrid with such a complicated name , but certainly would have chose labiata species..... At least three of those names are awarded varieties of labiata.
A nice big flower - I have not measured it, but guess 12cm plus.
