Default Dracula bella 'Marsh Hollow' AM/AOS

Wish I could figure out why this plant keeps blasting buds. Right now it has 13 inflorescence but only one flower at a time is successful. Most pass away when they start to swell. Humidity is at 70% where it lives. There are nine new growths coming in so it seems to be happy. Any thoughts?

Apparently some orchids did that (mine too), seemingly healthy but then the bud just blasted. As for me since I grow my plants outside, I suspected that it was because of drastic temperature change since the rain fall irregularly hence the temperature fluctuates. Or perhaps I might have accidentally sprayed or dripped fertilizer on the spike. Or it could be an entirely different reason which we are not aware of.

My second orchid society has a lot of mazzie and drac growers who produce spectacular displays. One of them brings plants to meetings in large plastic bags, blown up and tied up. I ask why, and he says that humidity is critical every minute of the day - i laugh at him, then he takes them out of the bags, and I cannot count the flower spikes...
But I think compost is important - they say it always has to be wet, not just damp, but you need the air in there too. Difficult, I think.I will take a piccy next time They bring them, if I have remembered to put my camera (phone) in my pocket.

Thank you Geoff, always like to see other folks plants. I saw the AOS award shot of this one once but can't find it any more. Quite spectacular!

Since the species is from high mountain I'm thinking the humidity towards evening and night would be very high along the drop in temperature from my 3 cents idea. I like it so much but I dont see any monkey face?

I have another Drac. spiking now that is more "monkey faced". Should see flowers in a couple of weeks.
