    Default Phalaenopsis Long Pride 'M-P1731'

I have attached 3 pics of this Taiwan miniature phal. I am posting this new thread for 2 reasons: 1. It is the longest blooming orchid that I have ever owned. 2. To find out from others if this is just an ordinary common mini phal that you can purchase at any 'supermarket' in other parts of the world (I live in Zhuhai China).

I think I have had this phal since early December of last year, and as of today (May 9), it still has flowers (3rd pic). The colors look quite different, but it is the same phal. Yes, it is getting ready to quit blooming, but there is still one more newer green spike branch on it.

    Thanks!

Wow! The colour is staggeringly different! It looks like a Phal that I would find in supermarket but then supermarket here normally don't label their names, so I cannot say for sure.

P/S: Your flag is not the same as your location.

Flower color, especially red, is greatly influenced by temperature. I'll bet you're growing it warmer than it had been previously.

I am an American living in Zhuhai China. So, should I change my flag? I think you are right. I will put the mainland China flag on my location. Thank you!

Yes. It is outside on my warm balcony now with much more indirect and some morning direct sunlight. So it did change color just like you told me. Thank you!

It has been outside on our warmer balcony now for quite a while. So your assessment is absolutely correct! Thank you!
