    Default Lions and Tigers and Bears...

    You guys remember my uncle kevin (etothex) right? well he moved to charlotte recently. I went down to visit last weekend, to see how he and his daughter (penny) (and orchids) are doing. So we decided to take penny to this wildlife park to see some wild animals. much to our surprise, we actually got to play with a lion!! it was so cool, i thought id share a picture or two, along with one of me and penny goose. enjoy.

    But clearly you don't have sufficient experience with cats. It typically goes like this:

    Here kitty!
    Nice kitty!
    Purr, purr...
    Lick, lick...
    CHONK!!!

    I can see in you photo, the kitty was up to the lick stage.

    Oh, dont worry. he liked to bite alright. we wrestled around a good bit, and he gave me a few nice chomps - all playful though, and very fun.

    yes, penny did get to hold the lion - they took a picture of it, nondigital - im waiting on kevin to get the picture scanned so i can put it up online.

    the kitty was about 8 weeks old, and yes he had VERY soft fur.

    Penny couldnt have been the least bit scared. whenever one of the animals quite obviously wanted to eat her, she just said RAAWWR!! and held her hands up. so cute.
