    Default OK, I'm calling it....

I say it is officially a spike.

    Wanna guess what it is?

Guess the genus get 5 points.
Guess the species get 10 points.

Points are worth, well, bragging rights.

WE HAVE A WEANER, um I mean WINNER.

What do we have for our winner, John.....

An all expense paid trip to YOUR back yard (which just happens to look like an orchid filled jungle).

With the bract in a bract like it has, gotta be a cochlopetalum. The blueish color suggests moq or glauc!

Congrats on the spike! Can't wait to see it bloom!

Stop asking questions, Tim! Lien's answer freaked me out more than the fact he guessed it!
