    Default Agasepalum Blue Mist 'Aubergine Measles'

    ..okay..it's a seed grown cross so I get to name it. Got it about a year and a half ago. First blooming seedling with two flowers for me. Plant is in a 2" pot. Cross is
    (Acacallis cyanea x Zygosepalum labiosum) x Acacallis cyanea

    Seedling came from a compot from a Hawaiian grower (I'll PM you if you're interested)...I've yet to get to the point in orchid obsession to make my own crosses. However, I wonder how this one would look crossed with my Zygoneria Adelaide Meadows 'Fat Cat' (which is in full bloom now).

    This plant looks and grows like a miniature zygopetalum to me. (Albeit much warmer).

    I just named this particular seedling cultivar. The name just hit me when I saw the first bloom open.
