    Default Potinara Frank Shride

    I got this orchid as a NOID a few months ago. I only had a partial name on the tag and now that it bloomed, I did a little search to see who this one is. What I found were two different names, but I believe this one is the correct one. The other name was Candy Cane, but the images I could find did not look like this bloom at all. The partial tag (broken in half) had two full words on it - Frank Shride. Any other ideas before I print a label for this one?

    Wow, with a bloom like that what's in a name? Eh?! It looks like a mask they wear for Carnival. What a pretty floofie.

    That's some gorgeous splash-petal floof! Not sure about the name, but it was registered in 1987 by Shride.

    LOL. It is fairly large. I did not measure it, but would guess five or six inches wide. Thanks for looking!
