    Default Cycnodes Wine Delight 'Jem' FCC/AOS

    My Wine Delight (Cycnoches lehmannii x Mormodes sinuata)
    bloomed really nicely this year. I can see why this plant was awarded an FCC--the flowers have the heaviest substance and interesting stripes. They smell like Louden's Cherry Cough Drops. I really love red flowers--they're very wasp-like.

    Very nice. Until pretty recently, I didn't know anything about this guys. I got a little seedling at a recent orchid society meeting and it is trucking along--hopefully it will bloom in a year or two (or three )

    I've never seen one before, I love the substance of the flower-appears thick. Are they hard to grow??
