Paph tranlienianum

Hi guys!

This guy opened a few days ago. This is the first species Paph to bloom for me, so I'm thrilled. I bought the plant in June, it had one previously bloomed growth and one semi-mature growth. It now has 6 growths of various sizes in total, lives on the windowsill and seems a very robust, and easy little plant. Nice and compact too.


Here's a quick picture, I love the fizzy white dorsal.

Curiously, the photo makes me think that there is some phrag in this paph (I know in this case it’s impossible).

Thank you guys! I snapped a picture of the whole plant. It's not brilliant but should give you an idea of the size, oh and I like the shadow on the wall.

The flower itself is just about 3 x 3 inches and the leaf span is approx 13 inches. It's not spectacular but I think it's cute as a button.
