Coelogyne species

Hi everybody,
need your help. Is there somebody out there who can probably identify my Coelogyne.

could be a faccidia, viscosa, huettneriana, lactea.
I already contacted some of my friends- best answers were huettneriana or lactea.

I don't think it is a Philippine species. And even then, I am not an expert on coelogyne, sad to say.

I will send the photo to my friend Elizabeth in France. She is in the printing stage of a book on Coelogyne, and has used two photos of mine for that book. I am quite sure she can help us.

Hi Nelson,
glad to hear from you !
That species is C. huettneriana, but 2 of the other IDs suggested are very close species.
C. huettneriana is easily identified by its fat ovoïd shining pseudbilbs, close to each others, with 2 long petiolated lanceolate leaves and its proteranthous inflorescence, which is not the case for C. flaccida or C. lactea (a synonym of the former). There's been a lot of confusion about their IDs, only Seidenfaden put an end to it in 1975.
C. viscosa has very narrow leaves, hence the synonym C. graminifolia.
I enclose photos of the 4 species, you can publish them on your forum if you wish.
