That amazing blue/purple Vanda I received is showing major signs of distress. I don't know if it's underwatering, not enough light, or even normal blooming patterns, but here's the problem.

As you can see, many of the blooms have turned, or are turning brown and have shriveled. Their stems are black, and some have fallen off. Even the blooms which are purple/blue seem to be drooping.

I mist this plant two to three times a day, and have even tried keeping one of the main roots in a pan of water, but that only served to rot part of that root and cause it to fall off.

The other vanda seems to be alright so far, so I'm just not sure what the problem is. Right now, I'm giving them both a good soaking in the sink, with a little fertilizer (Miracle Grow) mixed in the water.

Can you guys help me please? I really don't want to lose this incredibly beautiful orchid.

Thanks!!
