    Default V. Merv Velthuis X alba

    Another pretty flower from my basement grow room. Another scrawny terete plant. These plants are not my favorite, but they bloom well for me.

    I am amazed you are able to flower the V. Merv Velthuis X alba in the basement since these are really high-light requirement plants. Even here in the Philippines, with all our sun and warm weather, some growers find it difficult to let this plant bloom profusely.

    hi grandma, i love your vandas i admire you for those beautiful blooms, vandas need lots of lights but you were able to bloom them in the basement with artificial light

    very nice... Amazing that you grow them in the basement... what kind of light do u use and how close is it to the plants?
