    Default NOID Brassia mix going nuts

    Purchased this guy out of bloom early August 2008. Here's a picture diary of what happened since. I have no clue what it is but I'm sure I'm going to find out soon.

    Yes that's 2 spikes in about 10 months. It doesn't feel like it has been that long since I bought it though.

    The first 3 buds opened today.

    Does anyone know what this is?
    5" lateral sepals
    3.5" dorsal sepal
    2.5" petals

    Lip
    / \ 1"
    | | ____ width 1"
    \ /

    \ /

    There might be a slight fragrance; something like garlic maybe...

    Richard, look up photos of Brassia Eternal wind 'Summer's Dream'. I am thinking that is very close to what you show here.
