    Default paph rothschildianum 'Mont Millais' x Self

    Hi everyone:

    First post to the forum.

    On a visit yesterday to my local Orchid nursery (which aside of having some wonderful Paphs also keeps my credit card well exercised.) I found a beauty of a Roth seedling.

    It is Mont Millais X Self and was bred using an original Mont Millais. I've also seen those original plants in bloom over the years and can see why it it such a respected plant.

    Anyway, I really liked this first bloom seedling....hope you all do too!!!

    That's a beauty! Interestingly, I've never seen one of these in real life! And unfortunately the biggest one I have is only about 20cm leaf span!

    So until mine blooms, I'll have to enjoy yours! Thanks for sharing!

    This is really stunning !! My paph rothschildianum wont bloom for the past year since I got it. I hope it does next spring/summer.

    I wish I could have one, but not so easy to find and cost about U $ 450.00 (NBS). Are they also very expensive there?
