    Wink Checking in on everyone!

    Sorry everyone for my absence here of late. I have been negligent in my attendance and wanted to check in with everyone and hope all is well.

    One of the many challenges I have been dealing with lately is that my wonderful new Nikon D300 started having a serious malfunction regarding my exposure meter. It simply stopped working and pics in P or A mode came out pure white. This started a month ago and just TODAY (after being in and out of the Nikon repair center) I finally am getting a NEW replacement camera! I am excited but nervous since no one ever could figure out what was wrong with the other camera. They couldn't replicate the issue at the repair center but when they sent it back the first time it only lasted a day before it malfunctioned again. No matter what lens I used it just wasn't functioning. Maybe it will always just be a mystery but I hope to never have that problem again! (knock on wood)

    Well, I am hoping my new camera will be here this week so I can continue on with my photography. I feel so deprived!! I seriously love taking pictures more than ever with this DSLR (when it worked). I have a few pics to share that I took before it malfunctioned. I look forward to sharing more with you all in the future with my brand spankin' new replacement.

    Woah! the pictures have a very good resolution and the colours are so vivid. I understand your concern for repairing/ replacing your camera now. Very kind of you to say hi and checking on everyone. I'm still quite new to the forum, but we'll get to know each other through our Orchid pics I hope

    You know I looked that guy up and I am pretty sure he is a green hornet!! Pretty neat huh? That plant was COVERED with tons of insects that day...it was amazing.

    I love taking pics of my tabby...she is very patient with letting me use her as a model. So long as she gets to go outside with me she is pretty happy.

    Do you have any pics of her? My tabby is pretty sassy but she is quite a personality.

    Margo!!! I hope my camera gets her soon too. Most of my orchids are doing well...the baby ones...not so much
