New Paph to bloom!

Hi to all, I feel like an expectant father. Until recently I have stayed away from the paphs that usually need a cooler period in order to bloom. I saw a special on Paph. ( Winston Churchill 'Indomitable' FCC/AOS x Burning Sky'Ember'.) I kept the window open just a crack and found that the temperature, at night, dropped down to the upper 50's.
Well, it appears that my efforts hopefully will soon be rewarded. The single bud is swelling and if all goes well it will soon open. Now that I have some idea hopefully on how to use my digital camera, I hope to share this memorable occassion with all of you. Good Growing, Ed

My Paph venustum & Paph callosum never had temps much below 65f but both spiked.I,ve read it,s only certain paphs that need a "cool" period to flower.

That's such a pretty cross, Ed - I can't wait to see it. In fact, why wait? Start practicing with that fancy camera of yours and show us what 'soon to open' looks like. (I love watching the blooming sequence!)
