    Default Potting: Gastrochilus acutifolium

    What is the potting media to be used for Gastrochilus acutifolium? What are the culture requirements? Should I treat it like a vanda?

    Satish,
    Gastr. acutifolium grows in India in Assam also warm. I'm cultivating my acutifolium mounted on cork. I'm sure you can do it as well. Don't treat it like Vanda, shadowing is better.

    hi Mieczyslaw , I am worried of leaving it bare-root due to the low humidity now in Bangalore. I plan to pot it up in charcoal. Will that be OK?
