Gorgeous ! How do you care for your cacti Jeff ? What is the medium composition, fertilization and watering schedule??
Beautiful flower. I've had mine for 5 years and it hasn't bloomed yet. Come to think of it I've never seen one bloom over here. Thanks for sharing.
For medium I use the Miracle Grow cactus mix with added pearlite, charcoal, and sand. I water starting in the spring through fall. I let them completely dry for the winter unless they look distressed. I fertilize at least every other week in the growing season. Give them as much sun as they will stand year round. Most of mine get 8+ hours full sun on my front porch all summer long and they winter on the south side of the greenhouse.
Jeff, do you know if they are self-pollinators? I wouldn't mind trying some seed....
