Dendrobium anosmum blooming

This Dend have very nice smell. This is the first bloom of this species in my garden and it will be much more in the next few week.

one of the most common orchids in the Philippines

we call this orchid 'sanggumay' locally,it heralds the onset of summer season here in the philippines. once they bloom from feb to march thru april it means sunny days are here. its fragrance wafts the air with a delicious berry scent,especially intense in the morning then late in the afternoon to early evening.
