Facebook Like Button in First Post

Tonight, I added the popular Facebook 'Like' button to the first post of every thread in our community. If you are a Facebook user, feel free to click and like a post as you would do if you were on Facebook. You must be logged into your fb account in order to 'Like' a post. It will post a message to your profile exactly as if you 'Liked' a post in your friend's feed.

Try it out and let me know what you think. I am still testing the feature.

to be honest, i think its not needed here, coz people would comment on it anyway and i also see the tendency in it, just by clicking the button makes people lazier to actually reply with their own words.

Thanks for the feedback. I have been tracking the 'like' button and will continue to see how it is utilized. Links to our community builds the membership, but I do not want to loose the posting members either. Right now the most traffic to our site comes from search engines. I would like to see more direct links and this is one way to build those additional links. But, time will tell how valuable it is for our community.
