    Wink Lycaste brevispatha (Klotzch) Lindl and Paxton 1852

    Native Costa Rica and Nicaragua,near streams with high humidity.Pink flowers,size 3in(7.5 cm)in February(later in Europ)Heavy feeders in active growth and require copius watering.
    Dry rest period from November to April(not to could).
    Warning:leaves can burn in Summer,no water or misting on the leaves(give spots like rust)
    Allways a well draining potmedium.
