last few days the weather became very hot, more then 24°C. It's obviously good for my Cattlayas, one of them is flowering sice yesterday. Today already three flowers are ful open.

Stunningly beautiful!! I love the second shot here. The sunlight and the color of the orchid look wonderful. It is starting to get cold here, so I am liking this sunny photo even more.
Cheers,

The white blotches on the petals. Color break virus? Be careful with this one.
Yes, it resembles mild colour break virus. But I hear it can sometime result from non viral reasons like nutrient/hormone deficiency or overdose. A test is must. I will try an find out an article which pointed out that a certain line of hybrids had this pattern without the virus, due to mottled patterning in one of the parents.
Amey, thanks and let me know. Should it be an virus, I've remove this plant from my greenhouse soonest.
Here is a short reference from the following article by AOS
"In Cattleya plants, flower color break can be caused by ORSV or by drastic changes in temperature, and ORSV-infected Cymbidium can exhibit a mild mosaic that resembles nutrient deficiency."

And here is the discussion I was talking about in our own forum !!
