perfectly circular brown spot on orchid

Hey all, so, about 3 weeks ago or so I posted regarding my orchid who had this perfectly circular brown spot, that most thought was a burn spot. As recommended I took a sterile blade and cut out the brown spot and rubbed cinnamon on the fresh edges... now weeks later the leaves appear to be blistered?!?! Pictures to follow...if I can figure out how to make the file size smaller ..

Looks like more damaged tissue on the leaf surface from sunburn. Some times it doesn't show up right away. If it doesn't continue to spread I'd just leave be.

I agree with Mitch: I have something similar - as a result of too much afternoon sun.
I moved the plant into a more shady location and it is doing fine now.

Ooh no! I don't have it on the sill anymore, not since the first spot appeared, its about 5 feet away from the window on the dining table .. light still hits it through the window though, must be too much still... what about moving it to the opposite side of the room from the window? ....

This damage probably occured from the first over-exposure but didn't show up right away. To see if you have a bright enough area to place your phal away from the window, use the shadow test. Hold your hand between the window (light source) and the plant. How does your shadow appear? Sharp and dark? That would be a bright light, too bright for a phal. Fuzzy and gray? That would be about the right light level for your plant. No shadow? Oopsy! A bit too dark to grow much of anything!
