    Default Phalaenopsis venosa

    Acquired this Phalaenopsis venosa a couple of weeks ago.
    It is supposed to have a foul smell, described as crushed centipede (?).
    Either my nose is pretty stuffed or crushed centipede does not smell that bad after all...

    A crushed centipede? So who smelled that? lol A flower that lovely doesn't need to smell good anyways. We can appreciate their beauty far enough away that the odor doesn't bother us. lol

    Very pretty. Never detected any smell from venosa. Crushed centipede? Never tried smelling them, though I have 'crushed' a few. Crushed millipede - now that's another matter. It's quite offensive.
