    well depends on what you want to mount tho... if its a vanda or catts i just basically tie
    them to a mount either driftwood or slab... but for bulbos and phals I usually put moss
    and then tie them with anything I can get hold of... either twisties or nylon wires... even
    stockings... anything that can keep the plant stable and not wobbly for a long time until
    roots attaches to the mount. I believe there is also a video here that shows how to mount orchids....
