    Default Lycaste longipetala - in situ - Ecuador

    On an orchid tour in Ecuador. The first picture is the back of Gilberto Merino's head - not a great shot, but it gives an idea of the habitat.

    Quite a different flower form than the Lycastes I'm used to seeing!

    Excellent, Duane! I love seeing orchids in situ. This Lycaste is very unusual. I love it.

    Wild and wonderful! Such a good size flower also. I am with Ron that this is the Lycaste I have liked the most of all I have seen. AL
