new orchids blooming and culture help

I'm making the hard transition from being a successful Phal, oncidium, and Den grower/bloomer to the more difficult species plants. I was wondering if someone could offer help for reblooming/blooming and culture of some of these. So far they are mostly healthy but maybe I could do better?

My plant list:

Stelis superbiens (grown in diffuse light room, watered weekly)
Masdevallia herradurae (bright windowsill, watered every 2-3 days)
Jumellea comorensis (by bright window, watered weekly)
Restripia teniglossia (bright windowsill, watered every 2-3 days
Den. laevifolium (by bright window, watered weekly)
Bulbophyllum echinolabium (by bright window, watered weekly)
Phaius Microburst 'Wild Thing' (by bright window, watered weekly)
Sarcochilus Fitzhart (by bright window, watered weekly)
Cymbidium Evening Star (by bright window, watered weekly)
Paph. villosum and Pinnochio (grown in diffuse light room, watered weekly)

Problem plants:

Jumellea comorensis: some new growth leaves now turning black
Masdevallia herradurae: losing leaves slowly
Stelis superbien: happy but not blooming...

PS: I have recently up'ed the light for my plants, adding a small artificial fixture to those by the 'bright' window. This was because here in Wisconsin even 'bright' windows are often cloudy in the winter and only get about 9 hrs of daylight.

Is your Masdie drying out between waterings? I only have one, and am no expert, but I was told not to let mine dry out, and also that it is sensitive to water quality, and should have rain or pure water. It seems happy.

I think the Masdiv only dries out a little only because the air is so dry here. I do water it almost every day but I'll try to check it more often then Thanks for the tip!

Might help to know how each of these is potted or mounted, etc... Generically, it sounds like you are doing the right thing for them overall though.

Maybe the Masdi is too cold? I noticed at night by the window it was getting pretty chilly (even though the restripia and tolumnia are very happy there) I moved it into the bathroom because its warmer and stays more humid.

All my orchids are potted, on a gravel bed, on a plant shelf or on windowsill. The shelf plants are under a growing light. Temps range between 55-65 now that its winter (except a little cooler by the window).

Also any thoughts about the Jumellea? Its dropping leaves and slowly turning black from the base. The leaves at the top are still good. I just moved it to a more lighted area and double checked its drainage (which is good), I hope i'm not too late...
