Plant generally has the habit of the soft caned dendrobes , like nobile, perhaps with most leaves at the upper part of the cane rather than all along. This plant grown from a large-ish seedling a couple of years ago, and clearly not yet at its full size - the cane maybe 15 inches high and only flowering from the top few nodes - maybe that's what it always does. Flowers 2 inches or so.
I'll persevere.
