Not bad for a winter blooming shipped in bud... I'm looking forward to seeing the next flowers!

Love the bloom and leaves on this orchid. Thanks for the photo showing the scale of this orchid. It really is tiny!
Cheers,

Oh how I love the oxyglossums - impossible dreams - my greenhouse is too warm for them.
But a bit further north in Uk where it is a bit cooler , orchid growers who turn their backs on Cattleyas and Vandas, often go in for cooler orchids ; one such dear friend of mine, now gone from this earth , grew D.cuthbertsonii into little specimens with 20, 30, more flowers out - and I have known him get best in show in boih the Spring and Autumn shows with the same plant he siad that well grown they were in floower for m9 months at a time.
The grass is always greener on the other side of the street I suppose.
I would love to get them up to 20 or more blooms - patience is a virtue that is more difficult to cultivate than orchids!
*sigh* I wish I could grow these, but alas, like Geoff, my temps would be far too warm I fear.
