Need Suggestions for Aerides Repotting

I have an Aerides lawrenceae that has been thriving in semi-hydro since rescuing it as a young plant with only 4 leaves and a handful of roots. It is now pretty big and recently grew a keiki. Since I originally put it in semi-hydro for the sole purpose of saving it, I feel that in order to thrive and bloom, I should either repot it, mount it or something. Any suggestions?

I have mine growing in plastic mesh pots with very coarse bark & they do fine. There are some pics of my plants in the Vanda section.

I grow most of mine in plastic baskets with coconut husk chips and charcoal. Your plant seems healthy in this set up, why not just put it in a larger pot with the same media. You say it is in SH, but just curious, are there any roots growing inside the pot and into the water reservoir, or just in the top few inches with the moist pellets?

Don't mess with success...lol. Keep it in S/H. I agree with the previous post. If you have good roots below...just get a bigger container. I hear the old tea pitchers are wonderful. The handles make moving them a snap as well.

Thanks for the suggestions. The upper roots are a recent development and there are roots further down in the pot as well. There's two reasons I felt it's situation needed to change: It's getting very top heavy and from what I've read and seen on this orchid, it's inflorescences are pendulous and like to hang downward. I have no clue how that's going to happen in s/h!
