    Default Some NZ beauts!

    Hi all, after some confusion on posting photos, i worked it out! kudos to me

    About 4 months ago i was in the NZ bush camping (if you could call it that) with my family and decided to go for a wander and see what i could find. This is what i stumbled across (almost literally!)

    These are Chiloglottis cornuta

    Zain, pic no. 2 is the closest i got, but still pretty
    The microtis flowers are actually really small to, about the size of a short grain rice, that is ONE grain too

    COMMON NAMES
    Microtis unifolia-Common Onion Orchid-found from alpine to traffic islands lol
    Chiloglottis cornuta-Red Bird Orchid-not too common.....
    Pterostylis-Greenhood Orchids-Most are common as ever
