I'm a Cochleanthes fan though difficult to get but if I have the chance I will buy it. This species native to South America emitted such a nice fragrant especially in the morning.

Interesting flower, Zain. I've never seen this particular species before. For that matter, I rarely see Cochleanthes at all whether at shows or offered for sale.
Ya I agree with you, initially I'm not interested with this species after friend of mine introduced to me Cochleanthes Amazing then I fell in love, I always ask my friend when they go for the international orchid show, try to find for me especially this species. Usually you can get it from South America vendors. Thanks Paul.
I love the coloring on the lip.![]()
First time seeing this species, has it open fully? very cool colour. Thanks for sharing En Zainal.
Pretty and very rare in Malaysian collections. I recently got an Acacallis cyanea, another of those hard-to-come-by South American species. This has light blue flowers (I have this weakness for 'blue' orchids). Will post when it blooms.
What a cute orchid bloom, Zain. Well bloomed!
cheers,

What a charming orchid - and beautifully photographed. I have never seen one either, and will now search it out. I have a weakness for fragrant orchids and find that they aren't so easy to come by - that is, if you're not a big catt grower. Congrats with this and good luck!
