That is a pretty one. But where did those spots come from ? I'll check out the ancestry when I can get to OrchidWiz.
I too, like Chris, am becoming a dendrophile ( new word, I have just invented it !) having about a hundred different species, and maybe 30 or 40 hybrids. Of course, no one can possibly grow them all , since there are 1200 ? species, and they need a lot of different habitat conditions. Still, its fun trying.
But I can't think of any with spotted petals and sepals .

Just looked it up. Very interesting. It is a cross between aberrans ( which I have) and which is a small plant, no more than 6 inches high, very free flowering, several times a year for me , flowers repeatedly from the top of the cames, small white flowers. The other parent is one of the New Guinea species , and polysema actually means "many spots" in latin.
Two to look out for then (for me) D.polysema, and also this hybrid.

Aberrans is also a Latouria (New Guinea) type. I have a polysema although it is small and not yet in bloom. I would like to find a Lutin Blanc. They are not easy to find.

I don't suppose your polysema supplier is one I could buy from - CITES has split the world into a lot of no-go zones , effectively. Maybe I can find someone in the EU with a plant - goodness knows where we shall end up after Brexit actually happens ( it is merely promised or threatened at present ) , the pessimist in me ( not often seen) says we shall see the worst of all worlds in this respect - keeping EU nonsense rules and regulations but being kept out of buying from EU dealers without all the CITES stuff.

Did you try Paramount Orchids @BC of Canada? I bought this one from them.
