Dendrobium tobaense culture?

Hey all! Just bought a Dendrobium tobaense off the web, but im not quite sure how to grow them; from the few resources online I can gather that they like intermediate to warm temperatures with a slight drop of temperatures at night and in winter, one of the resources said that they appreciate staying a bit more moist between waterings than most dendrobiums from section formosae (can anybody verify this?). Im not quite sure on the amount of light that I should give them (I am totally unable to read foot-candles ); also im not too sure on what medium i should grow it in/on, I have seen people grow them in baskets with a bark medium, in s/h, and of course mounting them (which i think looks amazing, but am not too sure i can provide the amount of humidity they would need this way). If anybody grows this orchid and has any culture advice, it will be greatly appreciated!

The light level for mine is slightly lower than the one for Cattleya, maybe ~2000FC. I grow mine on mount and potted it in CHC chip mix. Some air movement...

Thank you Tom!.. If you don't mind me asking, what do you have yours mounted on?

I mounted mine on blueberry stick but any hardwood or cork should do the job. If you choose to grow yours on mount, you need to keep the humidity up(at least 60%).

I have 4 different dendrobiums with 2 being mounted and the other 2 in pots. I know it goes against all that I have read which is the same as plant conditions you listed. But right now with our temps about 100-105 everyday and with a morning misting only, mine are all doing great and spotted spikes on at least 2 of them today. My phaleos have also gotten such huge leaves since spring also. The normal may not be for everyone or thier plants either.
