Hey all, this is one of my natives. It is a member of the Sarcochilus family, and is one of only two species, this one, and D. flavus. D. adversus is more widespread and common as opposed to D. flavus.
I have noticed that this species likes to "conserve" its root growth, it is very slow, and there are few of them. Leaf growth is the same., both in cultivation, and in the wild...this one has been "extradited" from the wild
NB/ the size of the label is about 12cm long.
Drymoanthus adversus
These ones are of one i have found in situ on a Rewarewa tree........
