I am ready for winter ! ! !

I am so stoked. I finished readying my basement grow area for when I bring the outside orchids in for the winter. Scrubbed benches and cleaned up the general area. Must have been a slow buying summer - I have room for everything to come back in!!! Now, if I can just get past the Chicagoland Orchid Festival in a few weeks I will be sitting pretty ! ! !
Seems like this might be an early fall, nights have been into low 50s already. I hate flirting with disaster but I like to keep my plants outside for a bit of a cool-down to help set some Catt. blooms. I am not a good gambler. This makes me nervous.

We have had a couple of nights in the high 60's.
The corporate office of the company I work for is in Chicago. I happen to be there when the Orchid Festival was going on and it was spectacular! I bought a couple of vandas. Went back to the hotel and had to figure out how to get then home.
