'Taihort Gem' miniture phal
This little orchid is what I call my "energizer bunny" of orchids. It is still in the same pot I brought I purchased it in. In the Winter it sits in my kitchen windowsill facing west sitting over the sink and in the Summer it goes outside for its annual vacation on the deck where it gets some morning sun. Oil is expensive and I'm frugal so I turn the heat down to 52 at night in the Winter and I only turn it up to 63 in the daytime. It had one flower spike late Winter into Spring. I cut it off when it finished blooming and at the end of June I put it outdoors. We had a very hot Summer here in New England and this is what I got as a reward!
