I love the Dendrobium moniliforme. I grow mine in the traditional moss mounds like other Neofinetias and Sedireas. How are your growing yours?

i think the minimalism and simplicity are every reason why your orchid bloom is spectacular. Hope it rewards you with blooms non stop and you will always think of your friends gesture.

I received a lot of Dendrobium divisions from my friend this spring. Actually, they are all potted with sphagnum. Maybe I'll mount this one like my Neofinetia next year.

Great friend to gift such a beautiful orchid. Congratulations on the bloom! I really love the orchid I get from friends -more so than those I purchase. When an orchid that a friend has given me blooms, I get to remember that friend and if we haven't spoken in awhile, it is the perfect reason to call or write.
