Bruce right now my garden are occupied by vandas species in blooms such as helvola, lindenii, scanden and just opening insignis. Love the multi fragrances around my house.2 more vandas species in buds no idea what it is.

Hi Zainal, I can see, your Vanda lamellate is also flowering.
It's a funny story. I've visited the Auyong nursery in Kuching, many times and they have also Vanda dearii, but a very special type. The flowers are much bigger and flat. They have never been willing to sell one plant. Once, the old Datuk Auyong, gave a one flower to my wife. He was even a gentlemen. Also after he has past away, his son was not willing to sell one plant. Quite strange to me, but true.

Hi Mietek I agree with you I also asked the owner if I want to buy, just prepare MYR 20000 (6666.67 USD) unbelievable, all petals really flat so pretty just drooling my saliva and keep looking several times.Still no luck.
